Can you afford the European electricity grid over 100 million electric cars?

As things stand now, after ten years electric cars will dominate European road traffic. Millions of cars will have to be filled with electricity in the future, so it also asks whether the European electricity network can afford such pressure.
According to the European Energy Association study and the consulting company EY, the European electricity network could retain over 100 million electric vehicles. But this requires preparation. According to experts, by 2035 European roads will number some 135 million electric vehicles, which number some 132 million more than today. By then, 65 million fillers will have to be connected to the network, 85% in private homes. Consequently, uncontrolled filling can overload local energy networks, and that is why, according to experts, an intelligent control of the filling process is needed.
Experts recommend digitising the electrical network, with the goal of projecting and lowering the load of the network. The study also shows that Europe needs a new energy policy, because its support only in renewable energy sources will not be enough to meet all requirements.
