Swiss billionaire Hansjorg Wiess said an offer was made to buy the Chelsea Club from Roman Abramwich.
Abramwich is under constant pressure following the Russian aggressor's continuing attacks on the state of Ukraine, where Interior Minister Chris Bryant has said the owner of the Chelsea is overly afraid that he could be sanctioned by the Great Britain Government, Kosovo Press has led.
Abramwich has already issued a communique showing that the charity foundation of the Chelsea Club will take over the head of the European champion, but billionaire Wies shows that he is part of a group that is trying to buy the club from the Russian businessman.
“Abrahamwich is one of Putin's best and closest friends. Like all other oligarchs, he's panicking too. Abramwich is trying to sell all his villas in England. He also wants to leave Chelsea as soon as possible. Me and three other people have accepted an offer Tuesday to buy Chelsea from Abramwich”, Wyss told Blick.
I have to wait four to five days now, Abramwich is demanding a large sum. You know, Chelsea owes him nearly 2 billion euros, but Chelsea as a club doesn't have any money, and that means those who buy Chelsea must compensate Abramwich debt”, the Swiss billionaire added.
Wiess is a Swiss-born businessman who currently lives in the United States, where he made his fortune as founder and former president of “Attention USA”, campus that produces medical equipment.
The 86-year-old reportedly has a $5 billion figure on his name, and has recently been chosen as one of the world's most philanthropic people from “Forbes”.
