The union reacts to police suspension: We're worried, we're monitoring the case.

The Kosovo Police Union is already collecting information and facts regarding police suspension of Amir Hoxha for three days, as the latter has publicly raised its voice for not paying extra hours and shots to police, until on the other hand the Parliament deputies are compensated for the spent oil. [...]
The chairman of this union, Imer Zeqiri, has said they have not yet contacted the police official to know who has suspended him.
We're collecting some precise information. We haven't yet managed to contact our colleague and see where the suspension came from and we're consulting the Union Steering Council”, Zeqiri said.
He said that for the union any violation of police officials' rights is disturbing.
Any violation of the rights of police officials is disturbing. The union is worried. We need to collect some things so we know the reasons for the suspension. The worry is, it exists. We will be not only on this case but in all the cases where we consider and find that it has become unfair to the police, we will be on the monitoring of the case”, he has told Express.
In the meantime Kosovo Police Inspectoratehas come out today with a media communiqué, where they have said they have given no recommendation for the suspension of police Hoxha.
The IPK's response reportedly has been sponsored by Kosovo Police.
“Referring to numerous requests, we announce that the Kosovo Police Inspectorate is not handling this case and has made no recommendation for suspension and that this suspension has been made by Kosovo Police. Based on IPK's legal authorisations, IPK investigators investigate all criminal acts committed by Kosovo Police officers, indiscriminately degrees and positions during the duty exercise or outside of it”, the report says.
For the suspension of police, Hoxha has had numerous reactions. Among them was the leader of the Social Democrat Party, Dardan Molliq.
Moliqaj has declared today that the police are not a robot and that his expulsion shows the nature of totalitarian power.
“polic isn't a robot. The expulsion from work shows the nature of totalitarian power. The architecture of submission is ready. Her pain is necessary. But as in each profession, man is not reflectible in his work. The cop is also a citizen. Amir Hoxha left work because she broke the order asking for silence and submission. With his expulsion, the democratic right of speech and the right to work was attacked. But the examples of the discipline given to us by power should be answered by lessons from union organisation”, he wrote.
While, the spokeswoman for the Democratic League of Kosovo, Sbel Halimisaid the tendency to silence criticism is to violate democracy.
The ability to silence criticism by using state mechanisms, except that it is contrary to all international norms, is a major violation of democracy and creates tremendous precedent against freedom of expression. Government, state institutions, and police must use all means to preserve this constitutional freedom, not to use it as a tool to silence anyone who criticizes power. Instead of this government taking care of the dignified conditions for the Kosovo Police, it is taking care to keep in subjection through their discipline and control”, Halimi wrote in a post in “Facebook”
Even the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo official has reacted to this suspension. Daut Haradinaj.
Haradinaj has invited competent bodies to return police to his workplace.
Amir Hoxha's suspension, which is also legally responsible for investigating abuse of public goods. I invite competent bodies to review the decision and restore Amir to the workplace! Rather, he must be known as Hero, since he managed to save the life of a citizen”, Haradinaj wrote.
Meanwhile, university professor, Brian LatifiIt stated that this is not democracy but whyudo-democracy.
“Police, which says a truth, is suspended from work, while the MP living in Pristina and lies travelling from another Kosovo country, just to rob the state of oil money, doesn't touch it. This isn't a democracy. That's whyudo-democracy. Because real democracy is equal to the law, while false democracy a regime worth the Orell principle at “Animal Framework”: All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others! Get the cop back to work! Because the truth sets us free, while the fraud alone thickened the power of the villains and the thieves” wrote Latif in a post in “Facebook”
Police officer Amir Hoxha yesterday has published a status on his slide at “facebook”, where he has reacted to MPs' oil spending and the working conditions of the Kosovo Police.
After that, Hoxha has announced that she has been suspended for disciplinary violations.
