Ukrainian President Calls Military Reservers

Following Russian President Vladimir Putin's order to Russian troops in two pro-Moscow separatist regions in eastern Ukraine and following the proclamation of US sanctions against Moscow, Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky said he has called for military reserve for a particular period, excluding general mobilization. He said he is still pursuing diplomatic ways out of the crisis, but stressed that Ukraine would not hand over any territory to Russia.
His priority, he says, is to preserve Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Zelensky welcomed the sanctions being imposed by Western countries against Russia.
