Switzerland presents its red plates

The new license, currently represented by Swiss authorities, is hard to miss on the street, and that is its goal.
Using these plates will not be mandatory but will make driving easier for many. That's because these plates are destined for all those vehicles that use bicycle containers.
In fact, bicycle riding often covers the license plates, or they obscure the appearance of car license plates, so owners often have to transfer plates somewhere to bicycle holders.
Now this will no longer need to be done, because now a red license plate with black marks will be taken, which will be exclusively connected to the holder.
Switzerland has already announced many European states for this change, so Germany, France, Italy, Austria, Estonia, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Spain and Great Britain are already part of the list of states that have accepted this decision.
The new Swiss plates can order on March 1st, while the first shipments are expected at the end of that month.
