Shocking: Cars are more dirty than toilets?

Even though the cabin of a vehicle may seem clean or relatively clean, the most important thing is the unseen. It's a world of bacteria, some of which can send you to the doctor.

The scrapra Car Comparison company has conducted an analysis in Britain, part of which was taking samples from two toilets and five vehicles. It turned out that each of the vehicles tested contained fecal bacteria.

Surprisingly, the highest concentration of fecal bacteria was found in the trunk, where we often carry food, which we then place in the kitchen. Fecal bacteria have had considerable in the driver's seat, which is a little bit more surprising.

The dirtiest seats in the car are the luggage, which was first listed because 1425 bacteria were found there, the second came out the driver's seat (649 bacteria), the third glove of the speed switcher (407 bacteria), the back seat was the fourth (323 bacteria), and the five-bacteric instrument board (317).

One of the cleanest parts in the car turned out to be the steering wheel, which is surprising because drivers keep their hands there constantly. Scientists believe that this can be explained by increasing the use of hand disinfectants during the coronary pandemic.

Interestingly, each car contained significantly higher amounts of bacteria than any toilet in the sample.

Author of the study, Dr. Jonathan Cox, explains:

“Analyses were highly contaminated, not only with bacteria we would expect in a vehicle, such as Staphyloccus epidermidis (a type of skin microbe found in hand), but we also found Escherichia coli in some parts of the car, which is a kind of fecal bacteria that can cause food poisoning, diarrhea and vomit if swallowed in considerable quantities of <x1).
