Serbian courts launch campaign against Albanian officials in Valley, charged with violation of law

Serbian courts in Vranje and Bujanoc have launched a series of invitations to specific Albanian personalities in the Presevo Valley, which the Serbian prosecution accuses of violations of laws. Serbian courts in Vranje and Bujanoc have launched a series of invitations to specific Albanian personalities in the Presevo Valley, which the Serbian prosecution accuses of violations of laws.
The former director of the Culture House in Bujanoc, Granit Sadriou, has been invited to court with the reasoning that he violated the law until he issued one of the institutions' halls for the manifestation of National Flag Day.

On the other hand, the Nis Prosecutor's Department has filed charges against MP Shaip Kamberi for overcoming budgetary divisions when he was mayor of Bujanoc.
“I will face judicial terms with this indictment, and if I see that the prosecution is political, I will respond politically”, Kamberi said.
With charges from Serbian courts, incumbent Presevo Mayor Ardita Sinani and former Albanian Chairman Arifi is also facing.
For Ismaili from civil society, such actions by Serbian courts are unacceptable and biased.
“These are a form of pressure that is increasing daily, especially towards Albanian intellectuals, whose final goal seems to be to abandon these lands by Albanians”.
Serbia is on the verge of extraordinary parliamentary elections, while Albanians are still expected to compete on a joint electoral list.
