Interior Minister Jedal Svechla has expressed condolences to the police family killed in the village of Zlatar, Lirim Hajolli, who is thought to have been accidentally killed in a pivate along with his colleagues.
I've been reported in the early hours of the shooting incident in the village of Zlatar, from which Kosovo Police member Lirim Hajoli has lost his life. Express my condolences to the family of the deceased for losing their family”, wrote Svechla on a Facebook post.
The minister said that once he received the news he contacted the head of the IPK, from which he has demanded the institution's maximum commitment to the full investigation of this event and the circumstances in which it occurred.
“Already engaged in all capacity necessary to whiteen the event's circumstances, as well as those responsible for this tragedy to be brought to account”, Svechla concluded.
In this case, the Kosovo Police Inspectorate has confirmed that 15 policemen have been suspended and six of them arrested.
