Former known NBA basketball player Jiri Welsch is visiting Kosovo, where the main goal is the beginning of Junior NBA Kosova has announced the Basketball Federation.
Welsch has a rich career in the strongest league in the world and in European leagues. Welsch is 42 years old, who represented the Czech Republic. That career started with the Pardubice team, to continue in Sparta Prague and Union Olympia.
From 2002 to 2006 he played in the NBA, for Golden State Warriois, Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers and Milaukee Bucks. The career was continued in Europe, on the Unicaya Malaga, Estudiants Madrid, Spirou Charleoi, ÉZ Nymbuk and finished where it started in Pardubice.
He once won the Adriatic League, was three-time best basketball player in Czechia, won the Czech League three times, twice the Czech Cup -- once Slovenia's champion -- twice the Slovenia Cup and was once declared The Slovenia Cup MPP.
Jiri Welsch today will have a working lunch with FBK Secretary General Elvira Dushku and Junior's supervisor The NBA for Kosovo, Adrian Carrion, and then meeting with FBK Chairman Arben Fetah, while later having an exercise of boys and girls (born 2009-2011).
