Petit Manaj, 56, reports, had stabbed the woman in her heart about 6:30 a.m. Tuesday morning and had then gone to the neighborhood bar to drink coffee.
That's what the criminal author himself said in Fieri Police.
20 minutes after the murder, he had returned to his apartment and had shot his wife several more times with a knife in different parts of his body.
According to him, he had made his course of suicide more reliable.
The woman, Valdete Manaj 50, had lost her life immediately because of the bloodshed caused by stabs.
The event was initially reported by 56-year-old as women's suicide. But investigators had doubts. The latter were strengthened more during the following hours because of the conflicting statements of the murderous husband but also of some of the signs that the author had in his hands, apparently his wife's scratches during the quarrels before hitting him.
Petrit Manaj was put before the facts and police evidence. Under these conditions, he was forced to accept the murder of his wife, Valdete Manaj, and declared before the Fyer Police effective that the crime was done for jealousy.
Peter and Valdete Manaj are parents of two boys.
