Shaqiri shone in Lyon's latest single-captained match, yet that match was not a mirror of how he went through France since his transfer.
Six months since the transfer, Shaqiri has held 16 matches, marking two goals and assisting in three others, writes Express newspaper.
He wants a team where he can play, while L'Equipe reports that football player from Jedra of Gjilan is in advanced talks with a club from America, Chicago Fire.
It remains to be seen whether Shaqa will leave Lyon during the coming days.
