European automotive manufacturers exacerbate Russian intervention in Ukraine

Russian diplomatic and military acrobats in Ukraine are keeping the world under pressure, while it has initiated the first sanctions, which mainly concern the banking sector and some poor oligarchs, closely linked to President Putin.
In general, the escalation of the conflict goes to no one. Not even the Russians themselves, for they live from exports of gas and oil.
European automotive producers also have their own interests because they have invested billions of euros in Russia. Even some of the vehicles from factories east come to countries like Germany, France... European producers are very present in Russia, writes the Croatian magazine HAK. Volkswagen, Stellantis, Renault and Mercedes-Benz have their factories in Russia, while BMW also produces it through Russian partner Avtotor.
The French Renault owns the largest Russian autism producer, AvtoVAZ, which has a large factory in Tolyati. Even with Lada Renault, there are big plans for Europe.
Stelantis plans to import commercial vehicles Peugeot, Opel and Citroen from its factory in Kalugla, thus meeting the increased European demand for remittances.
Italian tyre maker Pirelli, who owns Chinese, owns two factories in Russia that employ about 2,500 people, where tires are produced for the local market and for export.
Between 2006 and 2021 Volkswagen has invested over two billion euros in factories in Russia, and has set apart about one billion euros only for the factory in Kalugla...
