Erdogan's wish: With Kosovo we have historical friendships, brotherly ties

Turkish President Recep Tayip Erdogan has congratulated Kosovars on the 14th anniversary of the declaration of independence.

Erdogan says that with Kosovo they have historic friendships and brotherly ties.

I wish Kosovo's independence anniversary, with which we have historical friendships and brotherly ties. I wish the peace, prosperity and well-being of Kosovo's brotherly people and send my greetings and congratulations”, the Turkish president wrote on Twitter.

Otherwise, Turkey was among the first countries to have recognised Kosovo's independence, declared on February 17th 2008.
