Costs of filling electric vehicles increase by 80 per cent

The cost of filling electric vehicles in Munich will rise significantly after April 1, 2022. This will happen because the local operator cannot remain passive in terms of increased electricity prices and inflation.
The German daily newspaper Abendzeitung Muenchen reports planned increases in the price of filling electric vehicles. According to the newspaper, the SWM, which owns a network of filling stations for electrical vehicles, issued an announcement on the planned growth in Munich on February 17th. According to the SWM spokesman, the warheads can no longer function with current quotas, and that “energy prices and increased overall spending make correction” necessary. The increases, which will apply on April 1st, are expected to be significant.
At the AC filling stations, the price will rise from 0.38 ur to 0.49 euros per kWh, while in DC stations from 0.38 to 0.69 euros, which is due to a charge of p. The price of 50kWh will rise from $19 to 34.5. That's the amount you're going to feel a lot of geerman wallets. But it should be noted that the prices in Munich have been among the lowest and that they will now approach the German average.
This SWM decision has been criticised by the Democratic Ecological Party ( OeDP, who has spoken of “a price friend”, and has sought answers from city officials.
