(4 years ago)The race for the best car title of 2022 has entered the final stage. In the meantime, the list of finalists for prestigious selection “World Year's Environment” has been published.
The narrow list includes 10 models, including four fully electric cars:
- Acud Q4 e-tro
- Ford Mustang Mach-E
- Hyundai Ioniq 5
- Kia EV6
- Formative Cup
- Genesis G70
- Toyota GR86 / Subaru BRZ.
- Honda Civic
- Hyundai Tucson
- Lexus NX
When it comes to electrical models, they were divided this year's “Electrical Development of the Year”, and candidates for the title of best electric vehicle for 2022 are:
- Audium e-ron GT
- BMW iX
- Ford Mustang Mach-E
- Hyundai Ioniq 5
- Mercedes ECA
In the category of luxury models, the finalists are:
- Audio Q5 Sportsback
- BMW iX
- Genesis GV70
- Mercedes ECA
- Volvo C40 Reload
This year's best sports car title competes:
- Audium e-ron GT
- BMW M3 / M4
- Porsche 911 GT3
- Toyota GR86 / Subaru BRZ
- Volkswagen Golf GTI / Golf R
In the best urban car category of the year, there are finalists:
- Dacia Sandero
- Opel Mokka
- Renault Kiger
- Toyota Yaris Cross
- Volkswagen Taigun
Meanwhile, when it comes to the best car of the year, the candidate for the title is:
- Audium e-ron GT
- Ford Mustang Mach-E
- Hyundai Ioniq 5
- Kia EV6
- Mercedes ECA
The jury, comprised of journalists from around the world who escort the auto-industria, will decide from all these categories for three names, and winners will be announced on 13 April during the New York Car Show.
