Bulgarians have begun producing their own electric trucks

The first 500 vehicles have already been produced, and all are destined for export.

In the near future, Bulgaria will be one of the leading European producers of electric trucks, Radio Bulgaria quoted Bulgarian Minister for Innovation and Economic Growth Daniel Lorer as presenting the V500 electric truck, which was produced at the company in Plovdiv.

According to the same source, only energy from renewable sources will be used to produce light Bulgarian trucks.

So far 500 trucks have been produced, and all are destined for export. Western European and US countries have shown great interest in them.

According to the manufacturer, with a battery load of Sevic v,500s, the truck can flow up to 300km, while the vehicle's transport capacity is up to 600kg.

The manufacturer also plans to build a new factory, thus increasing production capacity to about 1,000 vehicles annually, the Bulgarian Ministry of Economy explained.
