17 people have been arrested today for file in Pec.
The prosecution of the case, by the Department for Serious Crimes, Sahid Gashi, has indicated that wealth over 5m euros has been frozen in this case.
The several-month-long and post-check action and selection conducted by the directorate and investigation into organised crime in Pristina. This prosecutor has managed to arrest 17 people suspected of criminal offence and obligation, as well as of which assets have been frozen, which are widely estimated at this phase exceeding 5m euros. After receiving information in early November 2021 where, according to this information, over 20 people were involved in these criminal acts, the chief prosecutor formed an investigative team and we started formal investigations”, she showed at the extraordinary Peja Prosecutor's Conference.
