Audio A1 and Q2 go to history

Logic is simply economic, Audi has far greater profit from a Q5, A6, Q8 or e-Tron than from his two small models.
It is not the same profit from chocolate that costs 70 cents and what costs 1.5 euros. So even what Audi is doing is based on sound economic logic, which is that sometimes fewer cars are more profitable.
For many, even the small Audi A1 car, which in the original version costs a little over 26,500 euros, or even Q2, seems financially unattainable. However, Audi has far greater profits from Q5, A6, Q8, or e-Tron models, so until she produces cheaper models, the German manufacturer has to reserve considerable retail capacities (his or Volkswagen) for them as well. In addition, the cause of gas emissions regulations will also result in the production of models A1 and Q2 will cost more, and the profit will only decrease.
Consequently, the most logical step was to abandon these models, as Audit CEO Markus Djesmann announced in an interview with Handelsblat.
We will soon say goodbye to models A1 and Q2, and priority will be given to the most profitable models, and among them will be a luxury electric sedan...”
