O The SEU has welcomed Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani's decision to postpone extraordinary elections in the north to 23 April next year.
The head of the Organisation for Security and Co-operation mission in Kosovo (OSBE), Michael Davenport, through a tweet on Twitter, said the opportunity to reduce tensions and focus on dialogue should be exploited.
I welcome the decision of President Osmani and political party leaders to postpone holding municipal and municipal elections for municipal assemblies in northern Kosovo. Everyone should use this opportunity to reduce tensions and focus on dialogue”, he said.
The decision to postpone the elections has also welcomed the QUINT countries and the EU ambassador to Kosovo.
