Vetevendosje MP Victory Pacolli has commented on recent developments in the country where Kurti Government has praised the work, saying even the visa issue is the success of this government. These last few days, we have many positive developments that are happening in terms of visas. We've got the deal, set the date. If the ETIAS system is not realised by January we will travel by visa in January 2024. If it works earlier, we'll be traveling the moment it functions. So this is a success of Kosovo, the citizens of Kosovo, but certainly of this government which has made a huge advance in fighting corruption and organised crime, of democracy in our country. Not only are we saying this, but also the EU reports, the various international reports”, Pacoli said.
To Pacolli's statements, PDK deputy Ariana Musliu-Sashi reacted, accusing Vetevendosje of this visa delay by recalling tear gas in the Assembly and the issue of demarcation.
This is Mrs. Pacolli has to say this, but the fact is I appreciate that they say not exactly what Pacolli is saying. We know that it is precisely tear gas, demarcation that has prompted Kosovo to have no visas so far. Because now we have a constructive opposition, which is looking forward to self-using, expects concrete steps from this government to come to the Kosovo Assembly. So, so far we have no single initiative that this government fights corruption. Tell me about it. Pacolli, what are the concrete initiatives the government has taken to halt or reduce corruption...”, Musliu-Sshi replied./ Periscopi/
