Vetevendosje's MP said specific groups of criminal structures, transformed into criminal gangs led by Serbia, are doing their best to present those barricades as citizens' dissatisfaction, but that, he said, is not true.
He said continuing barricades in that part of the territory is a bad signal and encouraging groups that are terrorising citizens.
And we all know, and KFOR, and it's time to step down and interfere with their departure because the continuation of these blockades is a bad signal and it's similar to encouraging these groups to continue terrorising citizens. With these roads blocked, they're trying to say we're here and we're not moving”, Dugolli told RTK.
He does not believe this will continue to be tolerated.
“We are in expectation of continued co-operation and communication with KFOR, security institutions and I believe that very soon there will be movement in this direction, and barricades will eventually be removed”, he said.
LVV deputy said Kosovo institutions, Kosovo police, have the capacity and potential for these barricades to be removed very quickly, and the situation will return to normal.
“We have given them the opportunity and a certain deadline that KFOR has also asked that there be no drastic measures of leaving these barricades to prevent any alibi from forming for allegedly any possible access. And we have accepted such a suggestion because we want to testify and show that it is not Kosovo institutions, it is not the Kosovo Police that are causing violence, but it is gangs”, he said.
He expects all those who have carried out attacks on institutions, police and journalists will be investigated and there will be prosecutions for each one.
