VV) deputies have left cancer patients, which cost only 70 thousand euros, without isolation room

Within the budget of 3.2 billion euros, they found no room for the creation of an essential room for treating cancer patients, within the framework of the Oncology clinic in KKUK. Although, on the part of the LDK, the amendment was presented yesterday for this purpose in the Kosovo Assembly, part of [...] did not vote on it.
It is Democratic League of Kosovo MP Hykmete Bajrami which on Thursday proposed a 30-year mandate to build an isolated room for the attitude of patients who are treated with non-therapy, within nuclear medicine.
It clarified the vital importance of passing this point, including direct treatment of patients diagnosed with thyroid gland cancer, and the commitment has an individual cost to the state budget and family.
The patients who are diagnosed with thyroid cancer in our country are operated at QKUK and then depending on their analysis, some are treated with iod therapy. Nuclear medicine within the KKUUK offers all other services, but in the absence of an isolated room for the patient's stance is forced to receive this therapy, patients refer to Albania or Macedonia. This budget treatment costs about three thousand euros per patient, besides the cost of the state budget, is also high cost to the patient's family, including the road, several daily stays in a small country. So with a very small investment, 70 thousand euros, it is possible that this service is offered at QKUK at nuclear medicine. The demand is of the clinic staff, who claim to have space within the clinic, simply needs to become isolated with adequate materials. í, Bajrami said at the hearing.
Periscop has contacted Mrs. Bajrami and Mr. Arben Gashi to ask why this important proposal may not have gone through, but they were calm.
In spite of that, out of 71 deputies in the hall, 31 gave the vote for, 38 against and there were two abstentions. Of those who voted against, there are about 20 deputies of the Vetevendosje Movement, which logically without their votes could pass the amendment in question.
According to Paris, the LDK Stone is about: Saranda Bogujevci, Mimoza Kusari, Armendi Muja, Adnan Rrustemi, Haxhi Avdyli, Fatmire Kolqaku, Dimal Basha, Mefail Bajqimovci, Enver Dugolli, Albanian Selimi, Victor Pacoli, Agon Batushaj, Arber Rexaj, Ylza Hoti, Mirlinda Sadiku, fiti Hazi, Gazmendpi, Fjo Ujkun, Labin Demit Murzi and Hali Thaqi.

Non-serious budget was affordable
Former director of Oncology Clinic, Ekrem Hyseni in a statement about Periscope has stressed that he himself proposed this institution several years ago, which would solve many problems in providing cancer-distinguated patients with services.
In 2021, I have proposed a budget in January that was for Oncology worth 12m euros. This administration had a practice time and had also given answers to the Oncology infrastructure but also to that room that was mentioned. This 12 million has increased capacity 300 percent for chemistry and therapy. A patient who needs to go for therapy at 8 a.m. is to wait until 4 p.m. for a bed to be released. In the amendment, these have already had to be resolved and the budget has been affordable because it has been an institution of about 12m euros and a dynamic implementation plan. He said Hyseni.
Dr. Hyseni has clarified the problems of the shortages facing this hospital, but also patients.
Today we see there is a budget, but there is no will, as is the last one. Oncology also functions with a lack of staff and space for patients, and it is not something that was not faced. The concrete example, it has not been on the surface of the energy crisis in January 2021, as hundreds of millions of euros were split several times, and oncology for three years cannot possibly split 12m euros, he added.
As for the isolated room whose voting failed, Hyseni says:
That room serves for preparation that directly affects the staff of oncology and the medium staff involved in preparing stethostatics, which means these people in oncology do 100 chemotherapy a day prepare up to 200. There were cases up to 210. Lack of this room affects their health. So it's too inconsistent. There is no support for oncology at the moment, and patients also face great difficulties in providing drugs that are not on the list, or even on the oaks, but are lacking in them. )
VV) voted against the Oncology budget even in the past
In the Parliamentary Commission for Budget and Transfers, according to Hyseni, since 2021, the amendment for Oncology was voted by the vote against Hekuran Murati and Mimoza Kusari-Lila.
Dr. Hyseni points out there will always be problems if this serious illness by institutions doesn't start to be seriously treated.
Now Oncology has these problems, and there are other problems in the future, as long as it's not being seriously treated by this serious illness that is a social problem for patients, their families, their citizens, and it's also a big problem for the oncology staff that is subjected to tremendous pressure and demands of work. And I think the actual approach has to keep going. )
We remember that the Kosovo government holds over 700m euros in banks from the state budget, while it was impossible to provide 70 thousand euros for the service of cancer patients.
Periscope has tried to contact some of Vetevendosje's 20 deputies That they said 70 thousand euros for an isolated room, but nobody was on the phone.
Figures with new cases presented with cancer in Kosovo are emerging to be disturbing. According to the heads of the Oncology Clinic, in the first five months of this year throughout Kosovo, 611 new cancer cases have been diagnosed and are being addressed at the Oncology Clinic of the University Clinical Centre in Kosovo.
According to Kosovo University Clinical Hospital Service data, breast cancer dominoes, with 176 cases, while 143 cases of Urogjinal cancer have been recorded/ P ERISCOPI/
