The head of the Serbian state today from Tirana has tried to hit the West, more specifically, the European Union that is pressuring Ukraine, trying to accuse it of double standards by exploiting the case of the Republic of Kosovo.
After holding hands with Rama, Vuciq in his address to the media has said he has come to Tirana to show Belgrade's positions and defend state and national interest in accordance with Constitution”, the newspaper Express reports.
Because we'll have an opportunity here to say what we think. We remain committed to the EU-mediated dialogue process. But at the same time, we must protect the state and national interest in accordance with the Constitution. I'm here to listen and explain Serbia's position. It's important that we get some good news, and some are like EU support for the energy issue and the question of “roming” is important for citizens. And these are good signs”, Vuciq said.
He has already said that Belgrade knows its obligations on the road to the EU and to be on the same line as Brussels' decisions, however, has added that there is another issue to be discussed with EU officials.
Vuciq here has cited NATO's intervention in Kosovo's liberation and the rescue of the Albanian civilian population from the massacres and genocide regime of Slobodan Milosevic and the act of declaring the independence of the Republic of Kosovo that bears the seal of the International Court of Justice.
