The opposition MP, at today's Assembly session, said the bill seriously violates the right to employment as one of the basic human rights.

He said the government's goal is to denigration of state and municipal administration, with particular emphasis on civilian service.

“The bill for public officials proposed for approval constituted serious efforts by the Government of Kosovo to degrade state and municipal administration, with special emphasis on civilian service. Instead of this bill reflecting on the findings of the Constitutional Court given through the 2020 trial, it has exactly the opposite. Many proposed provisions in this bill are openly opposed to the Constitution of Kosovo, as they seriously violate the right to employment as one of the basic human rights”, he said.
