The UK is expected to announce the decision that passengers coming from China must be equipped with negative tests on COVIDD-19 before entering Britain.
According to BBC, the United Kingdom is among the last countries to take this move towards travelers from China when the cases rose after Beijing's decision to facilitate zero policy - CO VID of precautionary measures.
China has said it will fully reopen its borders on January 8th.
Several countries, including the US and India, have also made the decision to test.
It becomes known that the UK will seek a negative test before travelers can board a flight from continental China by bringing Britain in line with the approach undertaken by the United States.
While the announcement has not yet become official, the United Kingdom Defence Secretary confirmed on Friday that the government was reviewing the need for tests for passengers from China.
Asked whether the government would consider restrictions, Ben Wallace said: “The government is looking at this, is under consideration, we clearly noticed what the US and India have done and I think Italy has considered it”.
