The twins seem to have changed their history from last year, when they said they were paid two separate salaries.
They have been employed as electricians by the Punjab State Power Corporation Limited since last December, when they work in 12-hour shifts taking care of the supply control room.
Speaking to Independent in 2021, the twins said: “We are grateful to the Punjabi government for knowing our talent”.
However, viewers have expressed anger when they discovered that the twins share only one wage, the telegram broadcasts.
One person commented: “if they have separate identities, they should receive two different salaries”.
Another wrote: A salary for two people? This is making me angry.
