Stojkovq and Vihivska claim that, during questioning by police, she was not offered an interpreter until she was forced to sign guilty without knowing what she was signing, and that police did her work in an extremely unprofessional way.
Vihivska claims that she and her boyfriend were actually physically attacked by neighbours on their doorstep and they entered their apartment in an attempt to steal the phone she recorded with and they assume the reason for the attack was actually that she was from Ukraine, reports N1.
What we know and said in the courtroom is that right before this attack, the letters of Russian aggression against Ukraine, so letter Z, were written at the door of her building”, the lawyer said.
Stojkovic also said it is true that the Z letter is, unfortunately, a common view of the facades in Belgrade, but he stressed that in this case those symbols were drawn after Mary was placed in the building.
Otherwise, there has never been any conflict with neighbors, there has been no long conversation with neighbors, there has been nothing wrong with arguing that the attack has occurred for any other reason.
