Interior Minister Jalal Svecla has reacted after in the Serbian media reported that Kosovo police have lists on which the former police are arresting.
Svecla has said all of this is a disinforming Belgrade campaign to justify criminal acts that there is no stopping.
He said there are no such lists, and that in the Republic of Kosovo, the prosecution that pursues crime is the other branch of power by police implementing the Law of Orders and by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which is the branch of the executive.
“Deinforming campaign that a former police officer in northern Mitrovica has been arrested and that electroditribution employees have been hampered, confirms once again the need for barricades to be removed immediately and that normal should return to this area”, Svecla said.
