Svechla calls Serbs for immediate evacuation of barricades

Internal Affairs Minister Xhelal Svecla has called on Serbian citizens not to become part of the organisation of criminal groups in the north, urging organisers to immediately remove the barricades. “Since the barricades set yesterday have not yet been removed, I urge Serbian citizens not to become part of the organisation [...]
“Since the barricades imposed yesterday have not yet been removed, I call on Serbian citizens not to join the organisation of these criminal groups, while calling on organisers for immediate evacuation of the barricades”, Svecla has said at a joint conference with Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
“We cannot and will not allow criminal gangs to organise and prevent the circulation and free movement of our citizens“, he added.
Svecla said the reason for setting up barricades is the attempt not to allow former arrested official Dejan Pantic to be sent to southern Mitrovica for further procedures.
The minister said Serbian President Alexander Vuciq's statement that Kosovo police are terrorising Serbian citizens is completely false.
“Vuciq, desperate by Pantic's arrest, and in the absence of any argument, returned to his 90s post as propagandist”, Svechla said.
