Skender Hyseni seeks from Kurti Osman postponement of elections in the north

Former Foreign Minister Skender Hyseni has asked President Vjosa Osmani and Prime Minister Albin Kurti to postpone elections in the north, saying that Serbian President Aleksander Vuciq is awaiting even the slightest pretext to activate the darkest scenarios in the north.

Kurti's <x0.>Osman, today they must stand before the people and show what choices will be held in the north. Are there conditions for keeping them or should they be delayed to avoid further transition of the situation. Almost every major amateur Kurt and Osman's action and decision in the north has been wrong! Today the north is entirely in the hands of the Serbian gangs and criminal groups there, which are conducted by Serbian President Vuciq, who, as always, is on the verge of even the slightest pretext to activate the darkest scenarios in the north”, has written Hyseni on Facebook.

For the attack on police in Zvecan, where a member was wounded, Hyseni said a shot has marked the beginning of a war.

“in the Balkans, not rarely in history, a shooting bullet has marked the beginning of a disastrous war. When the conflict breaks out, it's useless to identify the culprits, because the consequences of the citizen's” are gone.

Hyseni said President Osmani had not consulted other security bodies before making the decision to hold elections.

“President Osmani had decided to set a date for holding elections in the north. No one disputes the legality of this decision in a normal situation. But was President Osaman in the sun for the rescue potential in the north before she took that step? Was she consulted with Kosovo security organs?! Could a normal election process develop into an abnormal and even explosive situation? The answer to that question is no! But the answer must be answered by the president himself, especially now after the newest situation created in the north with arms fired and police injuries”, Hyseni has indicated.

Osman's code today must address the people and make a decision to postpone elections in the north until normal circumstances are created.
