Slavisa Ristic, a member of the Parliamentary Commission for Kosovo in Serbia's Assembly, has demanded that access not be allowed to Serbia, Kosovars coming from the diaspora for the holiday season, as, according to him, Kosovars use Serbia as a way to go to Kosovo.
“If Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti repeatedly called for reciprocity when making unreasonable decisions, why does the state of Serbia, according to the same system, not make reciprocity about the movement of Albanians in Serbia and their entry from Serbia into Kosovo territory?” has said Ristic.
“Now, on the eve of New Year, when a large number of Albanians are coming to Kosovo, why doesn't Serbia stop them? I am not the advocate of limiting freedom of movement, but Kurti's fascist approach should respond correctly to”, Ristic declared in Serbia's Parliament, the Serbian newspaper N1 report.
According to him, this should be done because of the situation in the four northern municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo.
