Vuchev was talking about a local television channel, while also praising relations between Serbia and Kosovo.
“The atmosphere in Kosovo is so tense that the smallest incident could lead to undesirable and this is not surprising because Pristina and (Kosovo Prime Minister Albin) Kurti constantly makes movements aimed at destabilising and driving Serbs from Kosovo”, Vuchevic said, writes Anadolu.
He added that Serbia is with Serbs in Kosovo.
The “is not easy to explain to Serbs in northern Kosovo that, being humiliated, they should remain calm and not fall into provocations. Kurti's biggest goal is to intimidate Serbs there,” said Serbian Defence Minister, broadcast Kankosova.tv.
Ahead of the December 18th early local elections in four municipalities in northern Kosovo, explosions and sirens have been heard Tuesday in several northern neighbourhoods.
Kosovo Central Election Commission officials have gone to their offices in the north accompanied by local police, but have not been able to enter.
Kosovo-Serbia tensions flared last month when Serbs in Kosovo withdrew from all central and local institutions to protest the decision to replace car plates issued by Serbian authorities with those from Kosovo.
