Serb Suspected in Dubrava Massacre Arrested

A Serb has been arrested by police. He allegedly committed crimes against the civilian population in the Dubrava massacre. 64 year old G. M, by order of the prosecutor, has been sent to the holding for 48 hours. 64 year old G. M, by order of the prosecutor, has been sent to the holding for 48 hours.

Kosovo's “Police, respectively, the War Crimes Investigation Unit, in collaboration and authorisation of the Special Prosecutor, have conducted investigations concerning crimes committed during the 1998/99 period in Kosovo, where through investigative-opperative routes it has accepted information of a potential suspect as participants in these crimes, namely in the Dubrava massacre in May 1999”.

Kosovo Police, dated 01.12.2022, has accompanied Kosovo's male Serb suspect, G. M. (1958) in the police for further interviews and procedures. In consultation with the competent attorney, the high-ranking suspect has been interviewed in the presence of his attorney, provided under official duty, under suspicion that the same has been involved in criminal acts of war crimes against the civilian population”.

Under the order of the Special Prosecutor's Office, a decision has been issued to arrest and stop police in the course of 48 hours”.
