A scandalous case has recently occurred at Pec General Hospital.
The great lack of care of the staff of the Gynecology Department has caused a dead baby to be introduced into the sheets washer. The same one was torn out of the washing machine.
Despite the hospital staff's insistence that this terrible case be kept hidden, family members have notified the police.
What happened to the whole case, the baby's father told Index Online.
The one among the tears shows how the hospital's major neglect has shaken his family.
The baby's father says that his doubts arose as soon as he saw that the hospital refused to release the baby's lifeless body. Everything after this moment has deepened tragedy.
The father has not stopped for a moment trying to learn the truth about his dead baby. But the truth he got was beyond what he had ever imagined. With his eyes he saw the remains of his baby's lifeless body, as he was pulled out of the hospital's washing machine between the sheets.

Kosovo Police have confirmed the case, which has said investigations are being conducted by the State Prosecutor and the Health Inspectorate.
From the complainer, police have been informed of a case that occurred at the Regional Hospital in Pec. Police have already appeared on the scene, State Attorney, too. At the scene, health inspectors are on the scene. IndexOnline's sources within Pec Hospital say the hospital is trying at all costs to conceal the case, putting pressure on personnel so no information can be released outside the hospital. They are even trying to carry all the blame on the shoulders of the cleaning staff to keep the medical staff of gynecology clean.
On the other hand, only the director of Joint Administration and Services, Selman Kelmenmendi, has been declared by the hospital.
He says there are suspended persons in this case, who are still being investigated by the Inspectorate, Police and Prosecutor.
