Salih Mustafa convicted by Special Court, 26 years in prison

The chairman of the court, Mapie Veldt-Foglia, has read some points raised in the indictment against Sali Mustaf, who has treated them separately.
According to her, Mustafa is responsible for killing a suspect in the BIA complex in Zlata, acting or failing to act.
The prosecutor has found that the crimes were committed at the Zlace detention complex and that there are four charges against Mustafa, who was accused of arbitrary detention, cruel treatment, torture and unlawful murder.
These crimes were allegedly committed in April 1999.
Mustafa has been arrested and later transferred to the Special Court's detention unit on September 24, 2020.
The trial was launched on September 15, 2021, and 29 witnesses from the Specialised Prosecutor's Office and 15 of the defence were involved.
It includes eight victims who have given their testimony.
Former Specialised Prosecutor Jack Smith said months ago that in Mustafa's case, all victims are Kosovo Albanians.
After Smith's commitment to another court case, Alexhiing is in the position of a specialised Prosecutor's Dullusor.

The prosecution had said that the only <x0fage of some victims was that they were members of the Democratic League of Kosovo.
