Russia: Serbia has our support regarding Kosovo situation

Russian Ambassador to Serbia Aleksandar, Bocan-Harenko, has declared that “Serbia can count on Russia in terms of the situation in Kosovo”, adding that the two countries will continue to co-ordinate positions around the issue, writes “B92”. “People in Serbia know they can always count on Russia, regardless of the serious challenges for the country [...]

“People in Serbia know they can always count on Russia, regardless of the serious challenges for our country in conflicting with NATO, which has been imposed on us. We will continue to participate in resolving current international crises, including Kosovo”, says the text in “International Afers” (International Affairs), broadcast by TASS agency.

As Harchenko has said, Russia will continue to co-operate closely with Belgrade in protecting Serbia's rights regarding Kosovo, the Moscow instrument on this issue is that Russia is a member of the UN Security Council.

Of course, with the understanding that the initiative always comes from Belgrade”, he said.
