Rhetman Jashari says education union being ignored by Kurti Government

The chairman of the United Trade Union of Education, Science and Culture (SBASHK), Nundman Jasharaj, has said education workers continue to receive the benefits determined with the Kolektive Treaty, though it was unilaterally cut off from the Ministry of Education.

According to Jashir, this contract has been split unilaterally, and as such it has no legal basis. The same says they should do both sides, otherwise no legal value.

Jasharaj has been critical of the decision to compensate for lost hours due to the strike. Even this decision, Jasharaj considers it anti-legal.

“Zone Nagavci may be holding that anger of the strike, not only this one but also got that unilateral decision for compensation hours, even though the contract clearly says there is no signar compensation on the one hand is MASTI, and on the other side we can't break the contract, but Article 31 of the contract leaves the option that says unless any particular deal is reached, and that such agreement is not reached and that we haven't yet had a meeting with Mrs. Nagavci, even though we've sent such a letter of the contract to them.

Speaking of the collective contract, Jasharaj says teachers continue to receive the benefits she has. He says this was also witnessed by the Court's decision.

He has criticised Kosovo government for lack of dialogue with them, despite continued demands.

Jasharaj also mentioned the ignoring he received from the government chief for their request. He says he misused that request.

We've been making commitments and roads for nine months, and we've even gone with some disarrayed actions like protests, one strike hour and so on, and just a fact that we started the strike on August 25th, where the lesson was not yet beginning, we've done it to give the government the last alarm for those days to sit down and talk.
