The head of government has apologised, whether he has erred or did not appear to have done as much as he could.
“Tonight I don't have a traditional message, this is the night of your family, friends and relatives, and I have been home almost every day. I apologize if I've overreacted if I haven't spoken properly, if I've made a mistake, a lot of apologies! I did everything I could every year, but not everything I wanted, could do more than I could. It has been another extremely difficult year, which war inflation and energy price madness have made a dark year for Europe.
We have, however, had good days between them and historical days, such as the first European football final in Albania or the first EU summit outside the European Union's borders, without forgetting the long-awaited peak moment, the opening of membership negotiations with the European Union. But with the progress done this year I'm not taking a minute from tonight. May the New Year be a time for peace, love, and laughter for you, your family and friends and relatives. God bless Albania”, Rama stressed among others. /euronews.al/
