Hundreds of foreign journalists who have arrived in the capital to present the summit have reported and the violence that took place several hundred metres away from them, against a political leader.
Prime Minister Edi Rama himself has reacted to the incident, condemning the violence and seeking investigation into the event.
Albania's “Prime Minister Edi Rama unequivocally condemns today's organiser and protest leader! Violence has never been, is it will never be a means to address any issue or concern, and anyone uses this tool must face all the force of the law”, it is written in response conveyed by the Prime Minister's press office.
