The World Cup, however, does not seem to be enough for Qatar, now having another major goal - hosting the Olympic Games. According to media reports, the Asian country will compete to organise the 2036 Olympics, since the olympic site of the Olympic Games has been designated for the next three editions.
In 2024, the Olympics will take place in Paris, France, four years later in Los Angeles and 2032 in Australia. Qatar's Olympic Committee has submitted demand for the launch of procedures, while in addition to Qatar and Indonesia and India have interest in hosting the Olympics.
Even though Qatar hosted the World Cup, the organisation of the Olympics still remains a problem, however, due to temperatures, as the possibility of shifting the Olympic Games to the autumn as in the case of the World.
Qatar has been rejected in the previous three candidacies, but because of the World Cup body, they can convince the International Olympic Committee to believe in and bodyise the Olympics after successfully passing the World.
