Russian President Vladimir Putin has asked his senior military personnel how they think the war in Ukraine should continue, the Kremlin announced today.
This came after the Russian leader paid a visit to the headquarters of those involved in the invasion that began in late February, Skynews writes.
The sights shared by the Kremlin present Putin, meeting with many people along with Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu and top military official Valery Gerasimov.
He later appeared at the head of another conference table, inviting suggestions from a number of military commanders.
“We will listen to the commanders in every operational direction and I would like to hear your proposals for our immediate and medium-term actions”, Putin said.
Sergei Surovkin, commander of Russian forces fighting in Ukraine, also appeared at meetings. Putin spent all of it Friday at the task force headquarters, his spokesman Dmitry Peskov told the Interfax news agency.
