The PSD named her protest “Not in my name! ” referred to decisions pronounced by the Special Court as “in the name of the people of Kosovo”; the phrase that prompted public indignation following the 26-year sentence of the former KLAKICE Commission, Salih Mustafa.
Full PSD announcement:
The law under which specialised Chambers are operating does not coincide with the universal spirit of human rights and, in some cases, already documented by various reports, recently even by the ombudsman, has flagrantly violated those rights.
Therefore, we demand that the Law for Specialised Rooms be immediately adopted so that the most problematic articles can be changed and this court can be transformed into a court of justice. So as it is, it reproduces injustice on one side and distorts the history of the KLA's liberation war on the other.
Courts that bring injustice should strongly challenge because they do not speak in the name of the people of Kosovo.
So we invite each of us, to protest against the injustice of the Special Court tomorrow, December 24, at 2: 00 p.m., in Square “
