Prosecutors have resumed their concluding arguments in the Trump Organisation's tax fraud trial, promising to share previously undiscovered details about Donald Trump's knowledge of a tax evasion scheme created by one of his highest executives.
Manhattan County Assistant Prosecutor Joshua Stinglas continued his summary of the case Friday after telling jury members Thursday that “Donald Trumpi knew exactly what was going on with his top manager”.
The issue of fiscal fraud is the only trial that arose from Mr. Trump's three-year investigation and his business practices by the district attorney's office in Manhattan.
The company has denied wrongdoing, with its lawyers arguing the Weisselberg funder aimed to benefit only for himself. Trump himself is not on trial.
