The Pristina municipality has suspended for a year, the payment of 150 euros to 100 square metres, or a hectare of land, which by the end of this year citizens are making, to put the property in their name.
This decision was taken by the first of Pristina, Progress Rama, who had been named as a burden to citizens. The director of Kadasttri, Donat Lushaku, also insisted on its realisation, announces Klan Kosova.
According to director Lushaku, citizens in the rural part have been more reluctant to take such action for financial reasons.
During this time, a recommendation from the Ombudsman is expected to be taken, and if it is to abolish the regulation made in 2000, then this payment will be removed forever.
