President Begaj welcomes Kosovo's EU membership application

Republika President Bajram Begaj today welcomed the surrender of Kosovo's application to membership in the European Union. Republika President Bajram Begaj today welcomed the surrender of Kosovo's application to membership in the European Union.

Begaj considered this an important historical act with Cʹrast, congratulated Kosovo authorities on success in fulfilling the obligations of the membership process.

He called on all member states to support Kosovo's application, as it would be not only in the best geopolitical interest of the European Union, but also a much more contribution in support of a country of a people with clear European and Euro-Atlantic vocal power.

“Urim Kosovo, and many successes!”, Begaj said.

Otherwise, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti today handed over to the Czech Presidency of the European Union Council, Kosovo's application to the European Union.
