Kosovo police have said that over the past few days there have been reports of kidnappings and beatings of Serbian citizens in northern Kosovo. The past “Days have had information, reporting and publication in the media regarding the kidnapping, beating and mistreatment of several Serbian citizens by members of criminal structures in the northern part of the Republic of Kosovo”.

Kosovo's “Police, its respective units, are seriously handling these information and are taking the necessary investigative actions to whitewash them”.

Kosovo's “Police thank citizens for continuing co-operation in providing important information for effective addressing these criminal acts that tend to create panic and fear in the citizens of our country”.
