Who's Derek Chollette?
US Undersecretary Derek Chollet is an experienced diplomat who advises Secretary Antony Blinken on important foreign policy issues.
He worked in various positions earlier in the State Department, as well as in the White House and the Department of Defence. Chollette had also worked on Bill Clinton's administration, serving as the UN ambassador's chief writer, Richard Holbrooke.
He is also the author and co-author of eight books dealing with foreign policy in the United States, and is the winner of many public services-related awards.
Chollet was the leading man in American politics, demanding by Prime Minister Kurti Delay the deadline for license plates.
