Two people are arrested for counterfeiting money: Police suspect two cars, money and phone

The PK also reportedly arrested B.S. and M.I suspects during yesterday.

The suspects were trying to bring about a total of counterfeit money worth a total of 53 thousand and 100 euros.

At the prosecutor's decision, the suspects have been pronounced the 48-hour ban.

Police investigators from the Directorate for Investigation of Economic Crimes and Corruption (DHKEK), supported by other law enforcement institutions and in co-ordination with the Basic Prosecutor at Ferizaj yesterday, at 09.12.2022, have conducted police operation with the aim of arresting two suspected persons.

The arrest has come after an operational and investigative work, after police had fallen on the suspects and later yesterday resulted in the arrest of two suspects -- B.S., (B.S., 1986, Kosovo male), and M.I. (B. 1986 born male Citizens of Northern Macedonia). The suspects were trying to bring in a total of counterfeit money worth a total of 53100 (five thousand and three thousand and a hundred euros) and 10,000 ($100, U.S.).

The search of the house of Kosovo nationals has also been conducted during this operation. During the police operation, as material evidence that will be used in further procedure, they are seized:

All actions have been carried out with the authorisation of Ferizaj's Basic Prosecutor's Office, with whose decision the suspects were pronounced the 48-hour detention measure.
