Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Mergim Lushtaku has said the Kurti government is trying to politicise public administration. After the Interior Minister introduced the bill to public officials, Lushtaku announced that the PDK would reject this legal initiative.

“is looking at delays for coming up today. Major violations, major claims this government is trying to install in public administration are clearly seen. Major concerns, major reactions, criticisms that have prompted in every part of society, especially in the public administration part, from the government's insistence on politicising and legitimising public administration are very disturbing where we have concerns from unions, the EU, and different”, he has said.
Lushtaku has said the executive is targeting the capture of public administration.
“We as the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party of Kosovo express our concerns and of course will challenge that this bill is passed into this session, but even if it does, we will certainly take all steps because we really feel it and argue that there are major constitutional and legal violations in the country of”, he has declared.
