The president of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has reacted to this, saying there will never be police or soldiers of Serbia on Kosovo territory again.
Serbia's hegemonistic dream “will never be experienced”.
Full response:
The open threat of police and military aggression on the part of Serbia proves that hegemmonistic thinking continues in that state. This should be rejected and clearly rejected by the entire democratic world, which gave the most powerful blow to this thought in just 1999.
Last night's wound by a member of the Kosovo Police is criminal and oriented against the constitutional order of Kosovo's sovereignty, as well as against actions for rule of order and law. Also, attacks on journalists constitute flagrant violation of the right to free information.
The perpetrators of these crimes are urgently brought to justice, but justice institutions must act immediately.
There will never again be police officers and soldiers of Serbia on the territory of the Republic of Kosovo! Serbia's hegemonistic dream will never happen!
